A City School in the Middle of a Village

This past weekend I had the opportunity to travel south to Rakai District. A District that has been ravaged with HIV/AIDs and that lies on the border of Uganda and Tanzania.

I was there for business...Distributing and Collecting Surveys from Childcare workers that are involved with Africa Renewal Ministries.

While I was there, I had the opportunity to be a part of ARM's newest primary/secondary school opening day ceremonies...the school is AMAZING!

It will be the new school to many of the nomad families that live in the area as cattle keepers and farmers.

The locals were so excited, that they celebrated with singing, dances and speeches (for about 6 hours)

What a blessing that another 200+ sponsor children can now go to school!!

How exciting! We sponsor a girl named Lucia in the Rakai - Kakuuto Area Development Program, with World Vision. We are planning to visit there in a ministry capacity some day. It would be great to be in touch. Lance_1954 at Yahoo dot com
